Power Connectors and Styles
Power Connectors
Bluefin provides locking molex connectors standard on most screens. These connectors come in two styles, Molex Micro-Fit Jr. (Micro Molex) and Molex Mini-Fit Jr. (Mini Molex)
As of 2019, screens powered with 12V adapters use a micro-molex connector. Screens powered with 24V adapters use a mini-molex connector.
Styles
Power adapters come in two styles based on their rated amperage.
2 amp and 3 amp adapters come in a ‘wallwart’ style which plugs directly into the wall, and are ~5 feet in total length.
4 amp adapters come in a ‘brick’ style with a 5 foot cable between the wall and the unit, and are ~10 feet in total length.
