Part 2: Using the Ad Player

To use your V Series ad player, place videos (.mp4 or .avi) on a blank Micro-SD card and insert it into the player’s Micro-SD card slot.
Once powered on, the player will automatically play and loop your videos in alphabetical order.
See “Part 4: Recommended Settings” for recommended video settings when using the Ad Player.

USB Update

To update your player’s Micro-SD card with a USB flash drive, arrange video content on your USB flash drive as you want it to appear on the player’s Micro-SD card.
You must include a blank text document on the USB flash drive for the update to start. This file must be named USB2SD.txt
Click Here to Download a USB2SD.txt file

Insert the USB flash drive into the player’s USB port and power it on. A loading bar will appear displaying update progress. Once the loading screen has finished and your new content begins playing, remove the USB flash drive.

Using Buttons

You may set the player to switch to a specific video at the push of a button. On your Micro-SD card, create a folder labeled “1” without quotations.
Place the video you want the button to active inside of folder 1. For multiple buttons, place videos inside of folders labeled 2 - 7
The JST button connectors on the unit are labeled 1-7, and correspond to these folders. Arrange your push-buttons as desired.

To use a motion sensor to activate a video, place that video inside of a folder labeled “8” without quotations in your Micro-SD card.

Your V Series monitor includes HDMI connectivity and VGA input.
To display from a computer, media player, or other device, connect your device to the V Series screen using either of these connectors.
The V Series Screen will not display HDMI or VGA input if a Micro-SD card is inserted. Remove the Micro-SD card and re-power the unit if one was inserted prior.

You may connect a V Series Touch Screen to a media player using the USB Mini connector on the bottom of the screen.
